This IRP item involves writing up the literature review in narrative form as an addition to the \"running document\" of your IRP research design. Not all written literature reviews contain a thesis, but for this lit. review | am asking you to develop a thesis statement that demonstrates your argument, point of view, and approach to your complex research topic. This point of view is inherently supported by the sources (i.e. the \"literature\") that you looked up and compiled in your Literature Review Matrix. In this component you are not so much telling a story about \"the literature\"; rather, you are telling the story that emerged through the literature. You are in control here because you carefully selected your sources and then you articulate a thesis statement that emerged from the literature. Designing, organizing, and writing this narrative involves creativity in the effort to contextualize your research project/topic. Make sure you organize the Lit. Review narrative into themes (2-3 themed sections required), as this approach help you to better communicate and distill the abundant and complicated literature around your topic
