Briefing Note #2 Task: . You are a senior economist working for the Government of Ontario. You are an expert on the proximate causes of economic prosperity. The provincial government is worried about sustained economic growth given demographic changes, international competitiveness, and an increasingly STEM-based economy. This is true of the federal government as well, but we will focus on the provincial government because educational policy is provincial jurisdiction in Canada. . In this briefing note, you have been asked to brief the education minister on the correlation between economic growth and the quality of education. Furthermore, assume that the minister is being pressured by different advocacy groups to adopt: (a) areduced learning curriculum where there would be little or no homework, so children have more time for other activities, less time devoted on STEM subjects and more time on social issues, (b) less focus or no focus on cursive or writing skills because they are seen as obsolete, and lastly, (c) what is called \"mastery-based learning\
