Poor Anita Hug!She had a very hard month in the Fall of 2018.First, on October 1, 2018, Ruth Less orally agreed to sell Anita some land for $10,000 and accepted a deposit of $1,000 in cash to bind the agreement.Later, Ruth's brother Worth told Ruth he wanted the land and would be willing to pay $20,000 .Upon learning that Worth would pay a higher price, Ruth refused to honor the contract with Anita.Next, on October 2, 2018, Anita orally agreed to work for Jerry Atrick as a hostess in his Chinese restaurant, Tsu Mi, from October 5, 2018 until October 1, 2019, but has found that she hates the job and is really anxious to quit -- but Jerry has threatened to sue her for breach of contract if she does.Finally, on October 3, 2018, Anita's boyfriend Lou Pole orally promised her that if she agreed to marry him, he would give her a large monthly allowance, a new car every year, and a vacation each year to a destination of her choice.Anita was overjoyed to accept, and the pair were married on November1, 2018.Lou, however, has failed to keep his promise of a large monthly allowance, and when Anita brings up his other promises, Lou merely laughs.(see why I started with "poor Anita?")
