Budget 2021 continues to address the immediate needs of the most vulnerable, through continuation of targeted stimulus measures, especially for the B40 group (B40 is the Bottom 40% of the Malaysian household income). As a result of the stimulus packages and the Budget 2021 proposals, the Government expects the economy to grow by between 6.5% and 7.5% in 2021, representing a significant improvement from the projected contraction of 4.5% in 2020.
