Build your own spreadsheet. Get to the part where you can show the optimal number of guns
Question:
Build your own spreadsheet. Get to the part where you can show the optimal number of guns or butter that Jeremie Galiendo should be creating.
Save that spreadsheet (called butterguns1) and turn it in along with the sheet described below in part II.
Change up your spreadsheet.
As the war goes on, there have been some changes in your circumstances. On the good side, you have more budget now. It increased from $1,800 to $2,400. You found a second warehouse allowing you to double your available space from 21 to 42.
But, a ton of butter has dropped to $125. That's a big hit.
Try putting these changes into the spreadsheet and then run Solver to solve for B1. What happens?
Your whole front while in France is as a farmer, so you must produce some agricultural products. The other side will know you are up to something if you don't. Can you build a constraint into a solver that fixes the amount of butter you produce to at least 5 tons?
Try that and save your results to Butterguns2. Turn both spreadsheets in to me as this week's assignment.
