There are many private tertiary colleges in Hong Kong offering sub-

degree programmes including associate degree and higher diploma

programmes. Most students studying AD programmes in these colleges

aspire to articulate to senior-year bachelor degree places (Year 3) of

universities in Hong Kong, particularly UGC-funded degree programmes

offered by the eight UGC-funded universities (UGC stands for University

Grants Committee). Their academic performance, in terms of Grade

Point Average (GPA), is often the most determining factor affecting their

chance of getting into UGC-funded degree programmes.

Based on your understanding of various models of corporate social

responsibility, explain how such colleges might be operated in order to

increase the chance of their graduates to get into UGC-funded degree

programmes based on adopting each of the two CSR models below:
