Choose a publicly traded company verify that the company is publicly traded using the SEC Edgar Database.
Research scholarly databases and journals the Business Data bases through the JFL are a good place
Find at least Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats for your selected company to create your SWOT Matrix.
Each point for the SWOT should include quantitative measurement that comes in the form of global economic conditions and specific industry information. There should also be citations for each to support the data and claims that are made.
Use your SWOT to create a TOWS analysis. This is a matrix tool that assists with determining the company's internal and external situation.
