Business Current Topic Report: Each student will be responsible for preparing a short

(4 -5 page) written report including a "Works Cited" page on a current topic related to business submitted in the Assignment section...AND Students will make a short (POWERPOINT: 5-6 slides) summary presentation of the report to the class in the discussion section. Students will discuss the topic as well as relevant terminology and respond to classmates posted questions. Students will be provided with presentation dates in advance.

You can expand on a topic from the textbook such as:

Motivating workers

Technology

Managing Diversity

Leadership

Teams

Communication

Ethics and Social Responsibility

Managing Workplace Stress

You can discuss the topic or a case that is in the news media or discuss how a business is addressing any one of the above topics.(be creative) or any other important topic related to business. Make sure to include a Works Cited page.
