Business Driven Technology Book

Purpose:

This assignment will allow students to identify competitive advantages by applying several tools for analyzing business strategies will also provide knowledge of the IT startups that are currently in existence and of available innovative products/services in the field.

Instructions:

1. Review the Readings and Resources provided this week.
2. Research an IT startup company. Provide a short description of the services/products offered by the company.
3. Create a brief analysis, between 2 and 3 pages long, of the company utilizing the four tools for analyzing business strategies presented in your textbook:
   1. SWOT Analysis
   2. Five forces model
   3. The three generic strategies
   4. Value chain analysis
4. Describe how the company can use this analysis to effect or create competitive advantage.
