Project Group Assignment

Due Date: Monday March $25$th by $11$:$59$pm to our course dropbox

Deliverables:

Using the Fisure Project Management software $($after you have completed the running of the

project more than twice$),$ document the following:

$1.$ Provide an image of the earned value chart found in the reports section of the

project. It does not need to be perfect but you must be proud of the results that you

achieved.

$2.$ Each of the project team members must write $3-5$ strong paragraphs explaining

what they learned about project management from the experience of running this

project. Ensure that the assignment indicates who provided each reflection.

Marking:

$10$ marks for each reflection based on the quality of the reflection $($explained what was

learned, how the lesson can apply to your work life in future years, what did you find

surprising, what did you learn that you did not expect to learn, etc.$)$ The assignment is

scored out of $20$ overall and each team member will receive the same mark.

Instructions:

$$ Ensure that each students$$ name & student number is clearly outlined at the top

of the submission

$$ Submit the assignment via the dropbox $>$ Simulation project folder.

$$ Submit your assignment in $.$pdf or $.$doc$/.$docx fomat.

$$ Do not submit in $.$pages format. I cannot read or mark $.$pages format $($an apple

format$)$

Project Description:

In groups $($up to five people max$)$ you will complete the Fissure Project Management

Simulation. This will give you a chance to implement and apply what we are learning in class

and see the results of your decisions on the outcome of a project. This will be graded through

a combination of your performance in the simulation as well as a write$-$up outlining what you

learned. The simulation software will be available to download through our eLearn site $$ you

are responsible for ensuring that you have the time to successfully learn to use the software,

navigate and execute your project, as well as write$-$up the results. Do not leave this to the last

minute! I will not be available to help you with technical problems or mediate group dynamics.

All group members will receive the same mark $($individuals will not be marked$).$

Late Assignments: Late penalties will apply of $10\%$ per day up to $3$ days. A grade of $0$ will be

assigned for any assignment submitted after $3$ days.

Plagiarism: All assignments must be your original work. I can tell when people have received

a simproject image from another student and have submitted it as their own.

Plagiarized copy will be penalized by a mark of zero and written notification of plagiarization

will be sent to the Dean of the business school as well as the VP academic according to

college policies. Both parties will also receive zero on the assignment in question. Don$$t risk
