$($c$)$ A pressuremeter test $($PMT$)$ is carried out in a $100-$mm diameter borehole using a standard M$$nard$-$type pressuremeter $($diameter $=73mm$ and length $=440mm).$ The vertical overburden pressure at the depth, at which the test is conducted, is $300$ kPa with a bedding volumetric expansion of $220c{m}^3.$ From the PMT results, the radius of cavity is expected to increase $50\%$ at a pressure of $2,500$kPa. The yield point is reached when pressure measurement shows $1,500$kPa and volume change reading indicates $257c{m}^3.$ All data given have been corrected.
