ABC is a super shop based in Bashundhara. It has the departments as follow- 1) Sales 2) Warehouse 3) Purchase 4) Accounting. Accounting department uses software to record financial transaction. Sales are recorded in a sales system using a bar code scanner. Warehouse uses warehouse management software to record receive and issuance of products. Purchase department uses purchasing software to create purchase orders. The software are independent of each other. This creates situations as follow- 1) Sales department has to print out daily sales reports so that warehouse can adjust data on stock including sold and returns. 2) Those sales reports are sent to the accounting department so that the department can update sales accounts. 3) At the end of the each day, the warehouse department sends a printed report that shows the request to purchase more products. The purchase department receives this report. 4) The purchase department creates purchase order using the report received from the warehouse.
