C++ program***

Write a game as per below: Palmetto bugs have overrun your life.

The Palmetto Bugs are attacking you by with Flying Wings of Death and Leg Crawl Assault. The Flying attack will stun you if it hits (no actions for 1 round), the Leg Crawl Assault makes you move in a random direction for a random number of squares. You get to attack with Hypersonic Foot Stomps which kills the roach and RAID a spray which will stop a Palmetto Bug's Flying Wings Attack and stun it for 1 round.

The game mechanics work like this:

The Town

The town is a minimum of a 18x18 playable grid.

The grid at it's most basic has no obstacles just like a flat playing field

You need to find characters from the ASCII character set to represent the Bugs and the You

EXTRA CREDIT:

Place "houses" or other objects as obstacles in the grid

Make the game at night, so the you can only sees the 3 squares around in all directions with the Torch of Discovery, Bugs can see in the dark so they find it funny he has a torch.

The "Stupid" Palmetto Bugs

These Bugs wander around random Flying or Assaulting at random times

They really have no brain left having consumed too Roach Poison

The "Smarter" Palmetto Bugs

These cats see the Human and actively Attack. They seriously want him out of the house!!

They will attack as soon as they get in range

They are smart however so they sometimes act like "Stupid" Palmetto Bugs to fool you

The Palmetto Bugs Attacks

Leg Crawl Assault - this attack only works if the bug is right next to the Hunter. it has a 72% chance of succeeding against you. When the attack succeeds the Human loses one Resolve Point and run away from the bug in a random direction for a random number of squares (up to 5).

Flying Wings of Death - this attack is valid from two squares away and has an 80% chance of hitting the hunter. When this attack hits you are stunned and can't take an action for one turn and loses one Resolve Point.

The Human

The human has five Resolve Points. Once they have all been removed the human runs screaming from the building and loses.

The Human Defense and Attacks

RAID- when sprayed will stop the next Flying Assault and stun it for one round, the raid only has a 68% chance of hitting the bug.

Hypersonic Foot Stomps - when deployed This will squash the roach dead. If the roach is stunned, it has a 90% chance of hitting, if not stunned it has a 60% chance of hitting (those suckers are fast!)

Movement and turns

Each Bug and You gets two actions per turn

You and Bugs can move in any of the surrounding directions and squares Up, down, left, right, diagonally too. Movement consumes one action per square

Any attack by the you or the Bug takes one action.

You and the Bug may not occupy the same square.
