Processes:

1. Check in to front desk (provide Pt checklist) 2 minutes
2. Fill out Forms 5 minutes
3. Submit Forms to Window 1 3 minutes
4. Call Window for processing 3 minutes
5. Cashier 3 minutes
6. Photo Window 5 minutes
7. License obtained 3 minutes

Wait times

Between steps 1 and 2 3 minutes

Between steps 2 and 3 7 minutes

Between steps 3 and 4 15 minutes

Between steps 4 and 5 15 minutes

Between steps 5 and 6 15 minutes

Between steps 6 and 7 15 minutes

Provide the following:

Total throughput time for critical path, cycle time, and bottleneck. Draw a process map to include a decision point on whether you need a photo taken or not. If you dont need a photo taken, you skip step 6 and reduce total wait time by 15 minutes and total process time by 5 minutes.
