Calculation sample questions The following table present information similar to the transportation problem discussed in class. The last column of the table shows the supply capacities (in terms of containers) of factories in 3 major cities in western Canada and the last row shows the demands to be received at the warehouses in 3 cities in east Canada. The numbers in italic are unit transportation costs to ship each container of the products. Follow the "lowest-unit-cost-first" rule as discussed in class to decide the number of containers to ship from each supply city to each warehouse and calculate the total transportation cost. You may use the scratch paper to work out your solution and then write the final number in this table
