Campaign Background: We often fail to recognize the severe austerity faced by the underprivileged elders of our country. This should be the emerging challenge as elderly will have special needs and different caregiving services. Due to change of social, psychological and economic standpoint, people tend to grow or live in nuclear families or live abroad with the purpose of putting elderly parents or the population in a dilemma of their existence or the financial or social support that is essential for them. Another scenario could be the financial limitation that forces the elderly population out of health security and other social instability. A study report shows that in Bangladesh, most of the people (aged over 60 years) live in the rural areas where there is a lack of proper health care services, economic services and job opportunities are very limited. The situation of the elderly is dismal where more than 50% of the elderly are widowed or single. 63% are jobless and 14-15% engaged in agricultural works and daily labor. This compares badly with that of Tehran where 85% elderly are unofficially employed. Required of you: Sun Foundation is targeting the underprivileged elders for their next campaign. They want to start a project through which they can help a good number of elder people of our country and assure them the basic needs of regular life. As a project planner, you are requested to come up with a big idea on how to present the issue to the potential donors through the campaign and ask for a donation of $10,000. The campaign will start from the 1st of July, 2021. Sun Foundation is thinking to start implementing the project on the 1st January of 2022. Your evaluation is to be submitted in a PowerPoint deck. You are free to make necessary assumptions in the applicable case. However, you are to mention those assumptions in your plan as well. References are welcomed and encouraged. Judgment Rubric: The evaluation will be judged on: (1) Campaign USP; (2) Big idea; (3) Campaign payoff line; (4) Marketing plan; (5) Level of designed thinking on the planning process; (6) Campaign feasibility plan
