Case for Analysis: Employment Opportunities in Multinational Firms Case Summary: This case discusses the criticisms that have been directed at firms located in the United States that are owned by the Japanese. The most common criticism seems to be one of discrimination that Japanese firms hire few minority group employees (other than Asians) and promote few Americans to positions of power in these companies. The case analyzes some of the evidence relating to these claims and points out that some of these complaints are misleading or lack any strong supporting evidence.
