Can Do Descriptors

The WIDA Can Do Descriptors are commonly used by ESOL teachers in coaching general education teachers about differentiated instruction for English language learners (ELLs). The WIDA Can Do Descriptors can be used to plan lessons or observe students' progress. this assignment you will make a lesson plan for your grade level and subject area using the WIDA Can Do Descriptors to differentiate your lesson.

The lesson plan should include:

• Standard
• Grade level
• Subject
• Objective
• Lesson
• Strategies- minimum of 3
• Whole group instructions
• Small group instructions
• ELL: Explain how you differentiated your instruction
• ELL: Reteach
