This weeks TED Talk was very interesting and eye opening to say the least. The climate issues we face along with the ever growing populations only feed into economical issues that we can't put off any longer. Quite often do we see jokes about passing these issues on to the next generation. However, Chris brings up a lot of issues that we can chop away right now that we have no business pushing off with our "heads in the sand". A word that resonated with me was the word "sustainability" because its something that not only we seek for our environment but something that companies need to thrive due to future growth. Sustainability also ensures that the work being done today can be down $1$ year from now and improved upon pending the future impacts. Additionally, Chris stated "environmental leadership is compatible with good returns". This showcases that when your customers and the company's goals align the result yields positive. We also see these example line up with companies that we have been looking over the past

$7$weeks$.$ For example, we see that Coke and Pepsi have similar goals in order to stay competitive within the market. If these companies failed to align their goals with the local $($in this case global$)$economy then they would simply fall to the wayside through attrition. This is highlighted by Chris, we are all actively working and investing and we want these investments to pay dividends into our future. Working within vehicle maintenance day to day we see a lot changes going on under the hood to even assist consumers that don't have this "forward investing" mindset. Each manufacture has a different thing that sets their vehicles apart from auxiliary batteries assisting with saving gas to full blown electric vehicles. Overall, I took that the community is forcing the hand for all companies to make eco$-$friendly decisions and this video only compacted that fact!
