  1. Hello Class, The quiz that I took is based on a scoring system that determines if a person is a transformational leader or has the potential to be a transformational leader. Which in my case I scored a 3.75, which is between a 3.0 and a 3.9. Additionally my score let me know that I can be a transformational leader because I know that I am more of a transactional leader but I am working on being more transformational leader. The high score is a 5 which can tell a person that they are a transformational leader. A lot of the questions are related to a transformational leader plus there is a portion where you r domain scores by adding up certain questions and dividing by two for each domain. I think that this quiz that I took can be useful in the business world because it can show a person the type of leader they want to be or can be. The way that this quiz that I took relates to the definition is a lot of the questions that I answered are just like what the definition of transformational leadership stands for. For example, a question that I answered was I encourage my followers to question there most basic ways of thinking which is pretty much challenging them and is what I interpreted the definition of transformational leadership be.
  2. Class, I took the transformational quiz through leadershipiq.com, where it measured transformational leadership vs transactional leadership. The results of the quiz portrayed that I prefer transformational leadership, although there were questions that I answered that would have resulted in the opposite. I definitely agree with the results, as I do want to see subordinates succeed and achieve their goals in their own way. I do recognize that there are times I may utilize transactional, as in "get this done, and we'll get out of here early". I think this short quiz may be useful in the business world, as it would give the leader some insight into how they lead, and if it is effective or not. I do not think it is the most thorough tool, but it does give you a surface level look on type of leader you may be. After watching Andy Wood's video, I feel like he perfectly summed up being a transformational leader by succinctly stating, be human. I've learned being vulnerable in some situations is not necessarily a bad thing, and to work on a solution with your team may produce the best output, rather than having all the answers, no one really does. Explaining to your team the 5 W's can go a long way for productivity, vs giving an order "because I said so".
