Can you Answer fully with steps!!!!
Figure Q5(a) shows an open-circuit characteristic (OCC) curve of a 450-V,50Hz,6-pole, Delta-connected, synchronous generator. The generator's per-phase armature resistance and synchronous reactance are 0.0180 and 0.120, respectively. At full load, the synchronous generator supplies a current of 900A at 0.8 power factor lagging. Determine:
(i) The mechanical speed of the generator.
(ii) The field excitation current required to set the no-load terminal voltage
of the generator at 450 V .
(iii) If the generator is connected to a 3-phase rated delta-connected load
that draws line current of 900A at 0.85 power factor lagging, determine
its internal generated emf, E_(a), and the required field excitation, I_(f), to
maintain the terminal voltage at 450V.(Hint: Compute E_(a) and read the
corresponding I_(f) from the OCC in Figure Q5(a)
(iv) Sketch the corresponding phasor diagram, labelled clearly and show the
power angle, delta, and angle for power factor, phi, on the phasor diagram.
(v) Determine the power being delivered to the rated load by the generator,
and hence the generator efficiency. Assume lumped core, friction and
windage losses of 60 kW at full load.
