can you come up with a short, simple and basic response to this discussion post?
Chi-square tests are great to show if distributions differ or if two variables interact in producing outcomes. What are some examples of variables that you might want to check using thechi-square tests? What would these results tell you?
One value that I would like to check is the categories of populations for sales on a particular product. In this case we would want to see how the men would buy a product to women and to see if the they are different or interact. Another example is to determine if sells are better in a two different locations. For example if a product leather jackets would sell better in Louisiana than in New York. The chi square test variables in this example would be sells in Louisiana, Florida, California, and New York. To my understanding of chi-square tests, they are used to test the probable hypothesis of possible outcomes. I think that I am on the right track with this topic. Please comment.
