PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Follow the steps below to 1. Ask your Instructor to provide you with the required hardware and software a fully assembled PC as well as Windows 7 and Windows Vista installation disks. 2. Power up the system, check the partitions on the hard drive and delete them. 3. Create two equal partitions on the hard drive in preparation for installing an operating system. 4. Format the hard drive and make drive C: bootable. 5. Install and configure Windows 7 on drive C: 6. Ensure Windows 7 is working. 7. Ask your Instructor to check your work. 8. Install Windows Vista in the other partition. 9. Implement a dual boot system and ensure there are no conflicts. 10. Ask your Instructor to check your work. 11. Your Instructor will now introduce a problem on your system which you must troubleshoot. Use a systematic approach to solve this problem and document your actions. 12. Once the problem has been solved, reboot your system. 13. Perform a backup of the Windows 7 volume. 14. Ask your Instructor to check your work.
