Introduction and Background

After defining the problem, gathering secondary data, and conducting a focus group as part of our exploratory research, the next step of our research design is the survey. We started with personal interviews to help us in feeling out the survey process and then proceeded with the online survey to gather descriptive research data. Our survey questionnaire was designed with the help of our secondary research findings and from focus group responses that we found helpful to our study. The objective of the survey is to identify the market's awareness of recycling and sustainability, buying behavior, online presence, and to determine which marketing mix was attractive to the market. With this, we hope to paint a picture of our target market and its tendencies. Given this information, it would help us in our goal of increasing our product awareness through specific and targeted marketing activities for the Canadian market.We conducted the online survey using Google forms on 100 participants chosen among acquaintances, family, friends, colleagues, and classmates, all of who are managing a household and are based in Canada.
