Product planning is a process which involves all of the internally focused decisions, steps, and tasks necessary to develop a successful product. In other words, it involves everything you’ll need to do that will affect the product itself. By contrast, go-to-market planning involves all of the external-facing steps. These are the things you’ll do to introduce and market your product to the public.

1). Pure strategies use only one variable to absorb demand fluctuations. Whereas, mixed strategy utilizes two or more pure strategy variables.
2). Pure strategy contains 3 strategies, chase, level and stable workforce. If only one strategy strictly followed and then its called pure strategy. Mixed strategy utilizes mixture of those pure strategies.
3) Pure strategies are process centric, where there is light or minor change in any product. Mixed strategies are based suited for industries which faces significant product change in attributes and characteristics and demand for that product.
