__l Proper timeJ In relativity, Proper time on a time-like worldline, is measured by a clock following that line or simply is the time between two even measured by a single clock, this does not mean a clock from the inertial lreference frame. For example, a situation when a person travelled to a far distance and came back, and the other person stay on the earth at rest (like the twin Paradox explained later). Each observer has their own proper time measured by a single clock in their rest frame. Time dilation for the travelling person will see time running slower compared to his own proper time measured by that single clock in their rest frame.
