Over the course of this quarter, you will be responsible for completing 6 journals of ~250 words each.

For each, you will be required to find a video online of someone speaking in front of a crowd of people. For example, these could be, but are not limited to, TED talks, debates, event presentations, wedding toasts, or people performing stand-up comedy. They must be spoken word, and not musical performances.

Please include the link to the video in your journal.

In your journals, you should write a brief analysis of things you noticed about their talk. You could include notes on their body language, their verbal tone, speed, pitch, and language used. You could write about how they connected with their audience or the speech itself. Make note of what worked well or what they could have done to make their presentation better.

Finally, I want you to write one thing that you would like to work on to improve your own public speaking skills.
