A microbiologist conducted an experiment to determine whether there is a difference in the time it takes to make yoghurt from two different starters; (a) lactobacillus acidophilus and (b) bulgaris. Starter A with a sample of 7 has a mean time of 7 hours and a sample variance of 0.76. Starter B with a sample of 7 has a mean of 6.23 hours and a variance of 0.98. At 1% level of significance, test the hypothesis that the mean time taken to make yoghurt is the same for both starters.
