The unit manufacturing cost of a pair of gloves would be $0.31, $0.29, $0.32, $0.28 and $0.29 in plants 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively. The unit manufacturing cost of N95 masks would be $0.45, $0.41, $0.46, $0.42 and $0.43 in plants 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively. The unit manufacturing cost of surgical masks would be $0.38, $0.35, $0.40, $0.41 and $0.31 in plants 1, 2, 3, 4 and respectively. a) (6 points) Assuming each product needs to be produced in one plant, find the optimal assignment of products to plants using Hungarian method. b) (7 points) Now assume multiple products can be produced in one plant.
