When I started the project on the training management system, there were various things to consider before embarking on the real process. This is because data management systems call for specifications and certain requirements that are the only ones which can help it run smoothly. Data is very important in this process because some functionalities of systems need data that is extremely complex and precise at the same time while others rarely require such kinds of data. I personally understood that this can be avoided if a single data repository is created which can easily be accessed by multiple users of the data management system at a go. Another important thing to consider in a bid to reduce levels of repetition and redundancy is the creation of data mappings that are easy to use.

Also, any data management system requires an enhanced level of security. This is necessary because enhanced security guarantees save data and improves the level of data effectiveness. The importance of this requirement is securing large amounts of data which are usually involved in this process can sometimes prove difficult but when the security prior to the entire process is guaranteed, this becomes easy to handle. The data management system can ensure this by only allowing access to a select few. When this happens, data breaches and risks of data losses are reduced tremendously. The few users who have access to such systems can easily modify the database without raising any concerns.

When data management system needs to be easy to use, file consistencies should be improved. When a standardized way of using files is created while ensuring consistency when using data, users will save a lot. Few problems would be realized and less resources would be needed to keep upgrading files. Losses that are prevalent with insecurities in file storage would also be reduced. These would be avoided especially if the data management system is manipulated and streamlined properly. Another notable thing about this requirement is that when same rules for multiple users are set, it becomes easier for data management system experts to improve the systems and make necessary changes upon rise of a need.

The data management system also needed to offer multi-user environment support. This is very important especially if the design is for large corporations. Usually, large organizations need their systems to give workers an ability to use the system concurrently without any difficulties. A data management system should support several views of data which are a subsection of a database that is distinct and dedicated to specific operators of the system. As a database is typically accessed by multiple operators simultaneously, these operators may need different database views. In addition to the features mentioned above, it is also essential to look for certain qualities in a database system. For example, it should represent logical structures of the problem, eliminate redundant data storage, and offer seamless data access with data management system tools.
