Can you write a response to the below discussion and site the sources in the text using the resources below?

Creative tension is a relationship between current reality and vision (Sigmoid Curve Consulting Group - Experts in Change Leadership, 2013). We typically default to the path of least resistance which can stump future growth individually and for the team (Sigmoid Curve Consulting Group - Experts in Change Leadership, 2013). A leader might find it difficult to share the current reality because it could create uncomfortable conversations that could upset people. Understanding your people and having good relationships (Wartzman, 2012) with them will help you know how to approach these conversations and drive a sense of urgency within the team.

We want the tension to be enough that it pulls current reality up (Kotter, 2011b). However, it can not be so much that it causes the tension to snap and you lose people. People who are challenged at the appropriate level will feel stimulated and remain happy with the organization that they are in.

An example of this in my team, is that I put ownership of projects in their hands. I delegate, and check in on them and then have them present the solution. After that we evaluate and see how it is working and I help them make adjustments from there. When I form these leads for projects, I look to see who is at the appropriate level where this will be an appropriate challenge for their skill set. By putting them in charge, they buy in from the team is a lot higher and they feel ownership as a team for the success of the project. This creates that guiding coalition almost immediately. I check in with them consistently to 1 show my support and 2 ensure that they are not being overchallenged. This is the creative tension at work.
