CASE:

A boy was crossing the street when a motorcycle hit him. The motorcycle driver just speed off leaving the boy who was rendered bloodied and unconscious. Pedro who was then standing nearby, rushed the boy to the hospital. Luckily, aside from a few cuts and bruises, the boy was alright albeit needing medical attention that reached P150,000. The hospital sent Pedro the hospital bill as he was the one who signed the boy's admission papers. Pedro called the hospital saying that the hospital should send the bill to the boy's family instead.

QUESTION:

Is Pedro correct that he should not be charged for the bill?
