Overview

Once a project has been analyzed and accepted, it is time to determine the best way to complete the project. This is the "bows" of the project. One of the critical factors for project success is having a welldeveloped project plan. This is a roadmap of sorts that shows a team, project manager, scrum master, and stakeholders the way the project will be completed. Project plans typically contain four main sectians$,$ the work breakdown structure $($WBS$),$ Network Diagram $($ND$),$ Responsibility Matrix, and Budget.

A network diagram defines the sequence of how the activities will get done. It is a tool for arranging specific activities in the appropriate sequence and defining their dependent relationships.

Bianca and Awena, recent graduates and now owners of a Cultural Affairs company in Dallas, Texas, hail from vastly different cultural backgrounds$-$Bianca from a bustling Italian$-$American community in New York City, and Awena from the rural Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Despite their diverse upbringings, they share a dream of a grand cultural celebration that reflects their love, heritage, and values.

Project Overview:

Bianca and Awena embark on a community celebration aimed at bridging the cultural gaps between their families and communities while giving back to those in need. They envision a project that not only celebrates their differences but also fosters understanding, unity, and support within their diverse social circles.

Objectives:

Cultural Exchange: Facilitate cultural exchange and understanding between Bianca's Italian$-$American community in New York City and Awena's rural farming community in New Mexico.

Community Engagement: Engage both communities in a collaborative effort to $,$ support a meaningful cause.

Charitable Contribution: Raise funds or resources for a local charitable organization that aligns with the values of both communities.

Implementation:

Cultural Celebration Event: Bianca and Awena would like to organize a weekend long cultural celebration event in Dallas, Texas, inviting members from both communities. The event will feature traditional Italian and Native cuisine, music, and dance performances, showcasing the rich heritage of both cultures.

Workshops and Activities: Throughout the event, they would like workshops and activities designed to promote cultural exchange and understanding. These could include cooking demonstrations, dance lessons, and storytelling sessions.

Fundraising Component: As part of the festivities, Bianca and Awena incorporate a fundraising component, encouraging guests to make donations to the chosen charitable organizations. They would like online donation platforms to provide information about the impact of their chosen causes to inspire generosity. They have also considered their local impact and thought about a food drive and possible educational supply drive.

Given the scope of this project, Bianca and Awena recognize they need help. They hire your team with the expectation that they will work alongside you to bring this to fruition. Seeking to minimize expenses, Bianca and Awena have enlisted two additional family members to assist with the labor. Bianca's brother, Matteo, resides nearby and eagerly offers his help, while Aiyana, Awena's cousin, though not in close proximity, is enthusiastic about providing virtual assistance in any capacity needed.

Since you are a team of professional project managers, your team is likely working on multiple projects at once, and therefore, you can only allocate two people from your team $($human resources$)$ to any tasks identified.

Bianca, Awena, Matteo, and Aiyana all work for free but have other jobs and obligations, so will be slow to deliver. You, however, don't work for free. For your planning services, you charge $$50$ per hour.

Bianca and Awena would like to have this event on the first weekend of November and they would love to host it outside.

You know, to be able to pull off an event at this scale, that quickly, with all the facets involved, you need to start planning right away. Your team decides to allocate most of June to get the project plan together and start
