Ocotillo Health CareYou are a public relations specialist at Ocotillo Health Care in Tempe, Arizona. As part of your training, your supervisor asks you to review online examples of flyers encouraging healthy eating and then re-create the first page of a flyer on healthy eating as a Word document. Instead of writing the complete text of the flyer, you can use placeholder text.
Complete the following steps:
.Open a new, blank document, and then save it as NP_WD_4_Healthy in the location specified by your instructor.
.Open your browser and search online for images of flyers by searching for the keywords healthy eating flyer image. Review at least a dozen images of flyers before picking a style that you want to re-create in a Word document. The style you choose should contain at least two pictures. Keep the image of the flyer visible in your browser so you can return to it for reference as you work.
.In your Word document, create the first page of the flyer. Compose your own WordArt headlines and other headings, or replicate the headlines and headings in the sample flyer. To generate text that you can use to fill the space below the headings, type =lorem() and then press ENTER. Change the document theme, theme fonts, and theme colors as necessary to replicate the colors and fonts in the flyer you are trying to copy. Dont worry about the flyers background color; white is fine.
.Add at least two pictures, using pictures that you find online. Rotate or flip pictures, and remove their backgrounds as necessary to make them work in the flyer layout. Revise the images alt text if necessary.
.Add at least one 3-D model to the flyer. Revise the models alt text if necessary.
.Make any other changes necessary so that the layout and style of your document match the flyer example that you found online.
.Somewhere in the document, attach a comment that reads I used the following webpage as a model for this flyer design:, and then include the URL for the flyer image you used as a model. To copy a URL from a browser window, click the URL in the browsers Address bar, and then press CTRL+C.
.Save the document, close it, and then close your browser.
