Case studies allow you to apply knowledge gained to real or hypothetical marketing situations. Analyzing the issues presented and developing a plan of action will help reinforce the chapter objectives.

Assignment Instructions

Consider that you have been hired as a marketing consultant for the case study company. Choose one of the following end of chapter cases to analyze and answer the corresponding questions related to the case:

Chapter $6-$ Volta Financial

Chapter $7-6$MD

Chapter $8-$ Wild Foods

Prepare a presentation with a minimum of seven slides that includes the following:

Title slide indicating case chosen and your name.

Summarization slide with a brief overview of the case.

Case question slide$($s$)-$ summarized list of the questions posed $($these should be stated briefly $-$ you should not write out the entire question$).$

The Notes Pane will include the answers to the questions $-$ see requirements below.

You can use one slide for all the questions or pose one question per slide.

Ethical consideration slide $-$ predict one possible ethical concern that could arise based upon the information in the case study.

Ethical response slide $-$ summarize how you would handle the potential ethical concern from a Christian perspective.

Recommendation slide $-$ formulate an overall recommendation to the company.

Reference slide with the case and any outside sources listed.

Requirements for the slide presentation:

Use PowerPoint or Google slides to develop the presentation. If using Google, make sure to share the slide presentation with the instructor and give editing rights.

Create the slides as described above following best practices for slide presentations:

Follow the $6$X$6$ rule $-$ no more than six bullet points of text with six words per bullet point on a slide. Be very brief with no paragraphs of text.

Use appropriate color scheme and font so that the slides are easy to read

Utilize the Notes Pane $($located below the slide content area$)$ to write what you would say should you be presenting the material. This should include at least $1-2$ paragraphs of information. Sources are not required for this. However, if you use a source, you should use current edition APA formatting.

Add images to create visual interest $-$ keep in mind this is a marketing presentation.
