Loan Data Understanding When and How to Support

Fiscal Responsibility in Customers using DataRobot AutoMachine Learning

You are not required to report the same insights as from the study. Please feel free to be creative and report your own findings!

Students will complete the case study using the step by step outline in D$2$L and develop a ppt presentation that contains $5$ slides that summarize the following:

$1)$Business Understanding: Using the industry in the case, determine a company that you will pretend the case represents or use the exact same company from the case. Summarize the business, industry, competitors, etc. The ETSU Library also provides access to companies called Statista and IBIS World. These two online platforms offer information that can be used in collecting information about a particular industry. Please provide some detailed information here regarding the business and industry.

$2)$ Data Understanding: Information for this slide should be about what type of data exists and what fields are available to examine. It would be great to include what type of data exists in the data file? What do the fields represent? What questions can be answered from this data? This slide is not about using the tool $($e$.$g$.,$ DataRobot$)$ or including any insights from these tools, but is limited only to what data actually exists in the spreadsheet.

$3)$ Describe the analytical methods $($e$.$g$.,$ AutoML$)$ and tools $($e$.$g$.,$ DataRobot$)$ that were used.

$4)$ Data Evaluation: Provide $2-3$ insights with charts produced by the tool you used in the case study. It is not necessary for you to report the same insights that were provided in the case study instructions.

$5)$ Strategic Decisions: Using insights from the Data Evaluation, determine $2-3$ strategic suggestions for the company.

$6)$ Appendix: Please provide screenshots of your entire computer screen that shows each of your charts$/$graphs$.$

The PPT should be developed to tell a story. For example, the questions asked in the data understanding should align with problems the business is facing in the Business Understanding slide. The Data Evaluation should answer questions developed in the Data Understanding slide. Finally, the Strategic Decisions slide should use insights from the Data Evaluation slide to determine the best path forward for the company. Please focus on making the PPT visually appealing and place additional necessary text in the "notes" section of the PPT slide.

Students should submit a copy of PPT presentation to the appropriate D$2$L Dropbox. There is no other document due for this assignment.
