Narrative

Ace Communications has hired you as an independent consultant to build a new database using

their existing SQL Server software. ACE Communications runs conferences for various trade

organizations $($customers$).$ The conferences are generally held in a city and hotel of their

customers choosing. Each conference has various sessions that the attendees of the

conference can enroll in$.$ ACE needs a database to maintain information about their customers,

conferences, sessions, and attendees.

The customer information would include the name of the company as well as the contact

name, address information, and phone information. A customer may have employed ACE for

many conferences.

The conference information would include the customer, the name of the conference, the

date$($s$)$ of the conference, the hotel name, and the city where the hotel is located.

The session information would include the topic, the speaker$($s$),$ the room in the hotel where

the session is taking place, and the date$/$time of the session. Each session may have more than

one speaker. Keep in mind that sessions are related to a particular conference.

The attendee information would include the name of the attendee and the sessions that they

have enrolled in for a particular conference. Each attendee can enroll in as many sessions as

they want.

Some of the other goals that ACE wants to accomplish with their database include:

$$ Need to know the speaker that each attendee has seen at any session for a particular

conference
