Case Study Analysis (Uploaded Document 1)
Task: analysing this case study focussing on the following;
1. Identify the key issues in the case study in relation to current performance management performance management system.
2. Identify the key goals set by the organisation.
3. How can the organisation improve its current (PM) system.
4. Design a new performance management system for the case study organisation based on the results from the analysis. Apply relevant PM principles and other PM information from relevant literature, theories and concepts and effective practices to improve the current system.
5. Based on the analysis outline key recommendations and how the current performance management system can be improved.
6. Recommend an implementation plan.
The report is to be prepared and written as if you are acting as the Human Resources Director in this organisation. In the analysis and recommendations, consider both similarities and differences (gaps) between theories and what you observe in the case study organisation. Three critically important performance management practices should be considered and discussed.
The report should indicate theories, models and practices recommended in the academic literature that are relevant to each dimension. These are to be critically evaluated in relation to case study organisation and its context. In the report, include recommendations for change(s) to the existing performance management practices. It should be a 1500-character report. Identify where citations are needed.
Uploaded Document 2 (Performance Management_ A roadmap for developing, implementing, and evaluating performance management systems) is an article giving some ideas about the points of consider when recommending changes to the PM system in the case study.
