Aspire Logistics is a Bahrain based Third Party Logistics provider (3PL). Aspires major clients include companies such as Mondelez and Reckitt Benckiser. Due to ongoing business expansion, they need to build a new warehouse in Bahrain. You have been appointed as the new Operations Manager for Aspire Logistics and have been asked to present recommendations to the Board of Directors as to the location and layout design of the new warehouse. You have been given two hours to complete this task because the Board of Directors must present their business case to the Aspire Logistics CEO who is based in Bonn Germany. Remember, you must consider all the factors relating to the location and the layout design of the new warehouse considering the customers it will service.
