Joe, age 44 has been diagnosed with late stages of pancreatic cancer. He has to face the reality of his nearing death. He will leave behind a spouse and two teenage children. Meaning in his experiences and building a legacy have become the utmost important aspect of his life. He is surrounded by loved ones who want him to continue treatment which might at best continue his life for 3-6 months. Joe is done with his fight against cancer and wants his last time to be with family and friends living in the best way he can.
Joe's days are a blend of reflection and acceptance, but he does not want to talk about his cancer any longer as it is taken so much of him. He finds comfort in revisiting cherished memories with his siblings, parents, friends, wife and children.Despite physical frailty, Joe's spirit remains resilient.
