Case study Instructions This week's case isGodrej Consumer Products Your case analysis should:

• Answer the assigned case questions.
• Be between four and seven pages long.
• Use the How to Solve a Case format but address the case questions.

The case analysis will be graded on the basis of comprehensiveness, logic, sound application of course theory, reasonability and practicability. So, in your analysis be certain to pull ideas/concepts/theories from this or any previous seminar to justify your recommendations, alternative courses of actions, etc. Case questions:

1. How does GCPL's history impact Adi Godrej, the current CEO?
2. In retrospect, what could have been done better to improve the rate of internationalization at GCPL?
3. What are your business recommendations for Adi? What market(s) should GCPL focus on in the near future? Why?
4. How does GCPL company structure impact their capacity to engage in international operations?
5. Are Vivak and Adi pushing GCPL too hard? Give your opinion on whether GCPL is over-extended or not.
6. What cultural (organizational) changes will need to occur for GCPL to expect international success?
