Chapter 13 - MRP Team Exercise
The company that makes a table wants to ship 100 units at the beginning of day 4, 150 units at the beginning of day 5, and 200 units at the beginning of day 7. Receipts of 100 wood sections are scheduled at the beginning of day 2. On hand balances: Braces = 60 and Legs = 120. Lead times (in days) for all items are shown in the table. We are using L4L (Lot for Lot) methodology. Wood sections, Braces, and Legs need to be ready 1 week before Table assembly. The product structure tree is also shown. Your mission: Complete the MRP for Tables, Wood Sections, and Braces. For potential extra credit, complete Legs MRP. Hints: Some values (and some calculations) have been inserted to give you a start--you may want to leverage them!
