1. Please answer the questions asked.
a) In answering the first question, you should identify and describe how three (3) different Florida rules governing the practice of law apply to the circumstances of the hypothetical situation presented. (For our purposes, you should use the Florida Ethics Opinion, the Rule Regulating the Florida Bar, and the Florida Rule of Judicial Administration provided in this module.)
b) In answering the second question you should describe an ethical solution to the hypothetical situation presented.
2. All of your answers should be clear (easily understood with one reading), thorough, and relevant.
Hypothetical: You are a paralegal working in a multi-lawyer law firm. The attorney you work with is unexpectedly out of the office for an extended time (months) due to an injury. The office manager, a non-lawyer, instructs you to prepare, e-sign, and e-file with the court, all the usual documents needed in the attorney's open court cases.
Should I do this? (Assume you are an experienced paralegal and have the knowledge to do what the office manager instructed you to do.)
If not, what would you suggest be done instead? (This should be an ethical solution.)
