The report must include the following:

1. Information for your company: 

• Create a name for your company
• Give your product or products a name

2. Include at least one visual in your assignment 

• Table
• Chart
• Photograph
• Illustration

3. Heading of the Memo (5 points)

• Company Header
• Structure of a memo (Sender, Target audience, Subject, Date)

4. Introduction 

• Explain your request and why you are writing your proposal.
• Establish that a problem exists for which you need a solution.
• The problem will act as the hook to gain the reader’s interest.
• The introduction tells the reader the scope and limitations of the topic and introduces the reader to what will follow.
• The Introduction should be a well-developed paragraph of at least 8 to 10 sentences.

5. Background Information 

• The background information brings the reader up to date.
• Background Information states what the problem your proposal addresses and outlines the goal you intend to accomplish.
• You should include all the details that surround the problem so that the reader will understand how and why there is a problem and why should become a priority.
• Explain the Background information in a well-developed paragraph of at least 8 to 10 sentences.

6. Proposed Plan 

• The Proposed plan is an explanation of you intend to solve the problem.
• Tell your reader what you intend to do and stress how the reader will benefit from your solution.
• The Proposed Plan should be one or two well-developed paragraphs of at least 8 to 10 sentences.

7. Staffing and Budgeting Needs 

• Outline how the staff of your organization will be affected by your proposal.
• Describe the way your present staff will be involved in your proposal.
• Indicate if you need additional staff and their duties.
• What experience and ability do these staffs need?
• Mention all the expenses that will be incurred as a result of your proposal and costs resulting in a change in the staff.
• Include the personnel, additional expenses, increase in production, approximate revenue total
• This part can be a numbered list and include explanations.

8. Request for Approval or Authorization 

• Close your proposal with a request for approval or authorization.
• Remind your reader of the benefits to him or her if your proposal is approved.
• You should also include a suggested deadline for your proposal.

9. Include the Bibliography Remember to cite your references. Follow APA rules on citing.
