Chapter 5 in your book discusses functions. The first part of the chapter (to page 260) describes functions that print a result. Starting on page 261, the book describes functions that return a value. You may then make some use of the returned value.

For this exercise, code the following two functions:

The sumAndPrint function takes two parameters (the data in the parenthesis), adds them together and prints the result.

The sumAndReturn function takes two parameters (the data in the parenthesis), adds them together and returns the result. Then print the returned value -- you just don't do it in the function.

Obviously, you have to understand the difference between printing and returning in order to get this right.
