JOB DESCRIPTION - RETAIL ASSOCIATE

Title - Retail Associate

Job Statement/Summary - RA enjoys working with the public. RA will assist customers by providing product recommendations, answering questions, alerting customers to product options and expanding sales revenue by up-selling.

Reporting relationship - Reports to Store Owner

Essential Functions - Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter the store and help them to find appropriate products
  • Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise
  • Develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending appropriate products
  • Utilize the companys POS system to cash customers out or administer returns
  • Collaborate with team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized

Job Specifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years customer service experience
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Must be able to work weekends & overtime
