Topic 1: Technology inevitably makes many products obsolete. For example, most of us no longer use a typewriter, listen to albums or cassettes, etc. Name some other products and/or services that have become obsolete due to technological changes; what replaced them? What products/services do you think will be replaced due to advances in technology in the coming years? What products/services do you think will "stand the test of time" and still exist in their current forms years from now?

Topic 2: Much is made in management about the importance of missions and visions. In theory, these are supposed to drive/guide top executives' and employees' decisions. In most organizations, do you think that the mission/vision actually drive behavior and decisions? Why or why not? What would make missions/visions more effective at guiding employees?
