Class, I just wanted to add a short note here. As I noted above, I have an M.S. in I/O Psych. Almost all the work in this field in is alignment with HR work (e.g. performance evaluations) and almost everything is quantitative. Part of the reason for that is legal. People in our world argue and criticize anything that is not exact and absolutely clear. You can see that if HR were to use qualitative measures, a lot of people would probably be upset. Even so, qualitative research related to performance can add value and I am anxious to hear your thoughts?
