Discussion Question: Union's final offer to the Company.

For HCC Managements proposal to the Union, to make both sides and shifts happy, I would propose for the shirts differential increase in cents per year to both be .14 cents. The over percent cost of increase would be changed to 3% a year. By having the percent increase change to 3%, this would bring the cost of increase to $832,000.00. For each shift differential, second and third, the cost of increase would be $106.080.00 each. This would then make HCC Managements final proposal to the Union a total cost of $1,044,160.00. I think having this proposal would be beneficial for the overall company, which is what we are trying to create a successful policy for. I also believe this would not affect employees or make any changes to the overall Health Care Plan.
