Classroom assessment is an important tool to help you identify your students' understanding of the material and their progress toward reaching mastery.

One of your most important responsibilities is to provide specific feedback to students about their progress. Timely, specific, quality feedback helps students understand why they are successful or have areas for growth in their learning.
